Tutti noi sappiamo che il Dev-Team sta lavorando a pieno ritmo per lo sblocco dell’iPhone 3G già da prima che uscisse in commercio, esaminando le beta del firmware 2.0.
Adesso sembra che finalmente ci siano riusciti.

Nonostante gli sforzi degli sviluppatori per rendere Firefox 3 più simile al Mac, o meglio a Safari, la grafica del nuovo browser non mi piace. Nulla da ridire sulle sue potenzialità che, in alcuni casi, mi sono sembrate superiori rispetto a Safari.
Molti utenti preferiscono Firefox a Safari, anche se esteticamente non è il massimo, ma come rendere la volpe di fuoco un perfetto clone del browser della Apple?

Stanco di spendere un sacco di soldi per chiamare e mandare sms ho deciso di utilizzare il VoIP sul mio iPhone. Primo obiettivo raggiunto: mandare sms gratis. Vediamo come ho fatto.
Non ho scoperto nulla di sensazionale, ho solo utilizzato un applicazione che si chiama SkySMS.
L’applicazione si installa tramite Installer.app, basta aggiungere il reposity http://repo.ispazio.net
Prima di poter mandare sms gratuiti, occorre registrarsi su alcuni siti di operatori VoIP, niente paura è tutto gratuito!. Io ho scelto FreeCalls, ma ce ne sono davvero tanti.
Dopo esserci registrati, dobbiamo inserire i nostri dati nelle impostazioni di SkySMS, e inserire il nostro numero di telefono in “Senders”.
Adesso torniamo indietro, fino ad arrivare a comporre il messaggio. Quando inseriamo il numero di messaggio, dobbiamo ricordarci di inserire il prefisso internazionale (+39) prima del numero.
Ora possiamo spedire il messaggio.
SkySMS funziona sia con il WiFi che con una flta EDGE.

Alle ore 12.00 di sabato sera è stato rilasciato il nuovo Custom Firmware per PSP. Si tratta della versione 3.95 GEN.
Vediamo insieme le nuove caratteristiche:
Generale:
- Pieno supporto del kernel 3.95 e delle features del firmware 3.95 ufficiale, quali:
- Estesa la compatibilità per i titoli del Playstation Network.
- Potenziata la funzionalità di (Assegna Tasti) nel software per Playstation scaricati dal Playstation Store.
- Possibilità di terminare la Riproduzione Remota, premendo il tasto HOME, scegliendo l’operazione da effettuare. (Esci e spegni il Sistema PS3) oppure (Esci senza spegnere il sistema PS3), utile per scollegare la PSP dalla PS3 e continuare su quest’ultima un’operazione di download in corso.
Dashboard:
- Accesso alla Recovery o al VSHmenu con la pressione del tasto SELECT (modificabile).
- Aggiornamento delle versioni successive attraverso i server di PSPGEN e tramite la funzione di Aggiornamento di Rete della dashboard (modificabile).
Recovery:
- Introdotta l’opzione per selezionare le diverse fonti per gli aggiornamenti (server GEN, server M33, server ufficiale).
- Introdotta l’opzione per selezionare il menu (VSHMenu/Recovery) da visualizzare sulla dashboard alla pressione del tasto SELECT.
Popsloader:
- Aggiunto il supporto per farlo girare nel kernel 3.95.
Alcuni plugin/programmi importanti restano incompatibili:
IRSHELL: funziona correttamente fatta eccezione per l’avvio di UMD e backup di essi. Purtroppo Ahman non sta aggiornando il suo programma e non ha rilasciato i sorgenti quindi il problema allo stato attuale non è risolvibile. Lo stesso varrà per il futuro CF4.00 o quello che seguirà a meno che Ahman non ritornerà al lavoro o rilascerà il codice sorgente del programma.
CXMB: Richiede un piccolo aggiornamento per poter funzionare su questo nuovo custom firmware, aggiornamento che non dovrebbe tardare ad arrivare.
Come installarlo?
Di seguito riporto quando scritto nel file readme contenuto nella cartella del firmware:
3.95 GEN FIRMWARE BY MIRIAM

~ L’installazione di questo custom firmware é a vostro rischio e pericolo, é stato testato e verificato per sicurezza ma non é detto che qualcosa non vada storto.
Requisiti:
- PSP Slim/Phat con 3.71 M33 o superiore.
Istruzioni:
- Copiare la cartella PSP nella root della memory stick.
- Scaricare l’update ufficiale 3.95, nominare questo con il nome 395.PBP e posizionarlo nella root della memory stick.
- Eseguire l’update e seguire le istruzioni a schermo, il sony updater flasharà il vostro FW.
- Finito il procedimento il programma di aggiornamento richiedera di premere X per riavviare la console, FATELO O COME CONSEGUENZA VI RITROVERETE LA CONSOLE BRICKATA.
Changes:
- Kernel aggiornato a 3.95 (nuovi nids, patche ecc.).
- Aggiunta l’opzione in Recovery per scegliere fra VSHMenu’ o in-XMB Recovery.
- Aggiunta in recovery l’opzione per scelgliere fra l’aggiornamento automatico Sony, GEN o M33.
Informazioni Extra:
- Premere il pulsante L + Triangolo se vuoi far partire il GEN updater bypassando il controllo del 50% di carica della batteria.
- Tutti i bug riportati sono stati fixati. Per il Pops era un problema di memoria, e non un problema di patch.
Popsloader:
- Aggiunto il supporto per farlo girare nel kernel 3.95 , copiare la cartella seplugins nella root della memory stick, aggiungere al ‘pops.txt’ e abilitare da Recovery.

Emule, il programma di filesharing più usato si aggiorna alla versione 0.49a. A darne la notizia è lo stesso team di sviluppo, con un annuncio sul forum ufficiale. Le più importanti novità sono:
La possibilità di offuscamento del protocollo (utile per gli utenti tele2), un maggior controllo per evitare lo spam, e un miglioramente nell’interfaccia grafica per rendere più intuitive alcune azioni come lasciare un commento ad un file. Inoltre non mancano i bugfix.

.: Reworked Kads Firewall handling and testing:
The kad firewall state is now split into TCP and UDP. The TCP state is basically the old state, which tests if your TCP port is reachable. The UDP state is new and checks if your UDP port is reachable. For example on Full Cone NAT Routers, without portforwarding you will get TCP firewalled (as before) but UDP open (new). If you have the UDP open state, eMule doesn’t needs a buddy any longer and will fully participate in the KAD network and therefore take away the overhead they caused in earlier versions (you still cannot connect to other TCP firewalled clients if you are TCP firewalled yourself).
.: The new UDP state is shown in the MyInfo field in the Server Tab. As long as the UDP firewalltest is unfinished “(unverified)” is appended
.: Clients which have the Kad UDP open state, now support direct callbacks (invoked by an UDP packet) to connect to not firewalled clients. These callbacks are faster, more reliable and use less ressources than buddy or server callbacks.
.: The new firewall test also fixes a bug / design flaw which caused eMule to always use the use the clients source UDP port, instead testing if the internal set UDP port might be the propper choice instead. This was especially a problem on Restricted Cone Routers with PAT (Port Address Translation)

I tasti OSD (per intenderci i tasti per l’audio, la luminosit, il wifi ecc ecc) dell’Asus EeePC, non vengono riconosciuti automaticamente dal sistema operativo eeeXubuntu.
Per risolvere questo inconveniente, basta scaricare questo pacchetto .deb ed aprirlo con l’applicazione predefinita GDebi.
Una volta eseguito le vostre hot keys verranno riconosciute ad ogni avvio.

AVVISO IMPORTANTE
ATTENZIONE: Da diversi giorni, visitando il mio blog, appare un messaggo che avverte l’utente di un possibile virus ed lo invita a scaricare un antivirus che in realtà è un virus stesso. Viscido Blog non ha virus e tanto meno invita a scaricare quell’antivirus, il messaggio è solo uno stupido scherzo in java che, appena avrò un po di tempo, provvederò a disattivare. In tanto, se avete già scaricato questo fantomatico antivirus, vi invito a scansionare il vostro pc con tool adatti ed efficazi come avg free o avast antivirus.

Quest’oggi voglio presentarvi tre applicazioni per cellulari nokia dotati di accelerometri. I software che andremo a vedere sono: ShakeMe, ShakeSMS, e RuotateMeche e servono ad impartire diversi comandi al nostro nokia.
ShakeMe
E’ un applicazione che permette di impartire comandi al vostro nokia semplicemente scuotendolo. Possiamo comandare l’accensione o lo spegnimento del bluetooth, attivare o disattivare il blocco tastiera, attivare o disattivare la modalità silenzioso oppure attivare la luminazione del telefono. Per avere un idea del funzionamento vi rimando a questo video.
ShakeSMS
Quest’applicazione permette di aprire un sms appena ricevuto, semplicemente scecherando il cellulare. Ecco un video che mostra shakesms in funziona.
RoutateMe
Con questa applicazione basta ruotare il cellulare per avere una visuale più ambia dell’intero sistema. Qui un video che mostra RoutateMe in funzione.
Le applicazioni sopra citate sono ancora in fase beta, pertanto il download è riservato a chi offre una donazione attraverso il sito del produttore, anche se dubito che in programmi p2p non sia possibile scaricarli.
